WIND MEASUREMENT TOWERS
The R&D department of Egnatia designed wind metmast family for collecting data for direction, speed and intensivity of wind. The structures are galvanized steel towers with the following standard heights:
  • 60 meter
  • 84 meter
  • 102 meter
  • 120 meter
  • 132 meter
Towers with non-standard heights could also be designed, up to 132m.
The sections of the towers are made of welded steel pipes (St37-2 as per DIN 17100). The length of each section is 6 meters. They are being mounted on site and are being connected each to the other using tubular connectors and bolts. All the weldings are factory-made.
Tower sections are anchored at each level by guy ropes. The horizontal angle the 3 ropes at each level is 120°.
